Shipping Policy

Meaningful things, take some time.

At Ást Atelier, many of our pieces are made in small batches or to order. We ask for patience while your items are crafted, prepared and packed with care – it is part of our commitment to slow fashion, thoughtful consumption and meaningful making.​​​​

Processing & Pre-Orders

Pre-order items require production time before they are ready to ship. The minimum processing time is 10 business days, and dispatch is arranged as soon as your piece is complete. Some garments require more time depending on material, construction and season.

We will always keep you informed; if you are unsure about timelines or require an item for a specific event, please get in touch before purchasing – we are happy to assist.

Shipping Costs

We offer free shipping within Australia for orders over $300 AUD.

Shipping rates for orders under this threshold are calculated at checkout.

Domestic Shipping

Domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post with full tracking provided upon dispatch.

Extra Cover insurance is available for an additional fee ($2.75 AUD including GST per $100 AUD of parcel value) to protect against loss, theft or damage while in transit. Extra Cover is available for items up to $5,000 AUD in value.

International Shipping

We ship internationally; however, local customs, taxes and import duties may apply depending on destination and are the responsibility of the customer. These fees are issued directly by local customs or the courier and may vary.

Orders are traceable, and you will receive a tracking number once dispatched.

 

For customers in the United States:
Items valued over $2,500 USD may require additional customs clearance paperwork. If required, you will be provided with the necessary forms by the courier.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary according to region, courier and season. We are unable to guarantee transit times once parcels have been handed over to the carrier; however, we always ship with reputable services and tracking for transparency and peace of mind.

Sustainability & Shipping

Slow fashion asks us to consider not only what we buy, but how it travels and how long it remains in our lives. Where possible, we consolidate orders and use minimal, recyclable packaging. We also encourage conscious purchasing – selecting pieces you’ll keep, wear and enjoy for years to come.
