About the event
Zero-Waste Pattern Thinking is a progressive four week course exploring garment design through low-waste and zero-waste approaches. This course focuses on design thinking, pattern logic, and material awareness, rather than speed or trend-driven outcomes.
Across four sessions, participants move from research and concept development through to pattern creation and the making of a finished garment. The emphasis is on understanding how pattern decisions impact waste, fit, and form, and how constraints can become creative tools.
This series is suited to makers who already have basic sewing experience and want to deepen their understanding of garment design and sustainability. Participants will work on a single project over the duration of the course, supported through guided discussion, demonstrations, and individual feedback.
