About the event

The Guided Making Studio is a supported sewing session for makers who are already working on a project and need professional guidance, troubleshooting, or dedicated time or expertise to move forward.

Participants bring their own garments or sewing projects and work independently while receiving individualised support from tailor/designer Julie, throughout the session. This may include help with fit, pattern issues, construction order, finishing techniques, or decision-making when a project feels stuck.

This is not a structured class or step-by-step workshop; it is a focused studio environment designed to prevent unfinished projects from becoming waste, coupled with professional support and guidance from a highly experienced professional tailor/designer.

Each session begins with a short group check-in to set goals, ongoing assistance if desired and ends with any guidance on next steps.

Suitable for:

– Half-finished garments
